Cancellation Policy

By booking with North Shore Notary Co., you agree to the following: Confirmation We will reach out to confirm with you via the email and/or phone number you provide. Once we have reached out and confirmed with you your booking will be confirmed. Appointments booked through our system are requests and NOT confirmed until someone on our end has reviewed and received confirmation from you via text/call/email. Please review details for accuracy and ensure you have a government issued photo ID (e.g. Driver's License, Passport etc.). If you need a same day appointment they will be evaluated asap and would need to be made via email to info@northshorenotaryco.com or call and leave a message for 781-333-7970, rush fees may apply. Cancellations Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the appointment start time. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable. If payment was not made in advance, you may be charged the base visit fee for late cancellations. Rescheduling You may reschedule at any time before your appointment, subject to availability. Rescheduling within 24 hours will cancel the original appointment, but any payment made will be applied to the new time slot. No-Shows If you are not present at the agreed location within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time and cannot be reached, the appointment will be marked as a no-show. No-shows are non-refundable and may require a new booking fee. Late Arrivals & Waiting Time A 10-minute grace period is provided. After that, waiting fees apply at $25 per 30 minutes. Please contact us as soon as possible if you expect to be late. Required Documents & ID All documents must be complete (but unsigned) and ready for notarization. Each signer must present valid, government-issued photo ID. Travel & Service Fees Travel fees are calculated from Revere, MA and confirmed during booking. Travel and service fees are non-refundable once the notary is en route. Other Terms We reserve the right to refuse service in cases of incomplete documentation, invalid identification, or if conditions are unsafe.
